Project Background: This application presents results of a survey administered by the National Association for Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement (NACOLE). The survey seeks to collect up-to-date information regarding organizational structure, authority, resources and other relevant characteristics of Civilian Oversight Agencies. This application was designed to help oversight practitioners, community members, law enforcement, and government officials explore the way civilian oversight varies across the United States.
